Job Summary
Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift, responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and repairing production machinery to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Collaborates with Maintenance Manager and crews to execute continued improvement of machine safety and housekeeping; performs on-call emergency repairs; identifies root causes with machine operators; maintains maintenance shop organization and inventory; requires strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with shop tools. Focus areas include safety, problem-solving, and timely maintenance to sustain production operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment
