Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Provide support of production operations and lead complex maintenance activities with the assistance of other team members. Mentor junior technicians to advance their abilities and improve the maintenance department skill set. Read and understand mechanical and wiring interconnect drawings and service manuals. Use a range of hand tools (gear pullers, honing/lapping tools, precision levels, alignment tools) and power tools (hydraulic jacks, mag drills, belt lacing machines). Operate measuring devices, drive a forklift, and use lifting equipment (hoists, cranes, lifts). Maintain and repair general facility and equipment systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, rigging, cabinetry) and perform preventative maintenance (lubrication, adjustments, alignment checks). Troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision; proficient in machining, welding, fabrication, and related trades; service and overhaul components (air/hydraulic cylinders, valves, pumps, motion elements). Prioritize outages and tasks, analyze issues, and complete paperwork neatly. Lead maintenance activities and projects and mentor others; ensure safety compliance with company and OSHA guidelines; ability to work varied shifts and overtime as production demands require.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of technical training or 5+ years related experience required
- Advanced knowledge of skilled maintenance disciplines such as complex mechanical devices/systems, electrical controls, electronics, PLC programming and troubleshooting, sensors/sensing
- Prior Lockout/Tagout experience
- Basic computer skills
- Good mechanical skills
