Job Summary
Repair and maintain all production equipment, diagnose mechanical malfunctions, and implement repairs to limit downtime. Conduct periodic preventative maintenance checks and lubricate machinery while assisting in building equipment parts and experimental machines. Coordinate material requisitions and read design drawings, blueprints, and safety guidelines to work to order specifications. Make emergency repairs to address operating difficulties and ensure production continuity. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Trade School
- Military training
- 1+ years' mechanical maintenance experience
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
