Job Summary
Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) responsible for electrical troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance of packaging equipment, including installation of control wiring, conduit installation, termination of conductors, PLC Troubleshooting (not programming), and maintenance of conveyors, robotics, and related machinery. Requires five years’ experience in packaging/equipment maintenance with emphasis on electrical installation, PLC understanding, and ability to troubleshoot sensors, photo eyes, pneumatics, and MAC valves. Proficient with basic electrical test instruments (VOM, clamp-on meter) and able to use equipment such as boom/scissor lifts. Includes shift differentials, weekly pay, benefit package, and EOE/affirmative-action posture.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years experience in packaging and equipment maintenance with emphasis on electrical installation and experience with preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting in conveyors, robotics, wrappers, palletizers, shrink wrappers, casers, air compressors, and boilers
