Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing production machines and facility equipment. Performs mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks, installs, troubleshoots, and repairs production equipment, conducts preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, reads and interprets manuals and work orders, diagnoses issues and replaces parts, collaborates with external technicians for complex repairs, and documents maintenance activities while communicating equipment status to supervisors. Emphasizes safety, ability to work independently and in a team, and strong mechanical, electrical, and industrial-system proficiency to keep equipment operating efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years in manufacturing maintenance
- Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Experience with PLCs
- HVAC preferred
- Read, Write, and Speak English
