Job Summary
Perform minor and major maintenance duties on production machinery, diagnosing problems, replacing parts, and conducting emergency repairs. Execute scheduled preventative maintenance procedures and complete all assigned work orders under the Maintenance Manager's direction. Supervise outside contractors, manage facility tools, and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and food industry GMPs. Maintain clean work areas and adhere to all safety rules and policies. This role supports continuous operations at the Goodyear, AZ location, requiring a self-starter with electrical and mechanical experience. Candidates must have valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair
- Good skill in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals and blueprints
- Clear understanding of OSHA requirements and food industry GMP's
- Valid work authorization and ability to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Ability to lift 40 pounds repetitively
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand on your feet for an entire shift
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in a face paced food manufacturing environment
- Preference given to candidates with a 2-year associate degree in electromechanical systems
- Robotics and control experience
