Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role on 2nd shift focused on surveying buildings, maintaining preventative maintenance schedules, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems to ensure health and safety standards. Responsibilities include repairing mechanical and electrical systems, inspecting alarm and fire-protection systems, performing general upkeep (including painting and carpentry), assisting in the setup of equipment, maintaining heating and plumbing systems, and assisting in ordering and stocking parts. Must operate with a positive attitude, emphasize quality, safety, timely attendance, and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pumps, and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
- Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred
- Willingness to work with chemicals
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours
- Self-starting and motivated; teamwork orientation
