Job Summary
Maintenance Technician will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a 24/5 food-manufacturing facility, supporting the production team. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment; utilizing electronic devices and CMMS (work orders, PMs, documentation); keeping an organized work area; identifying issues and documenting in CMMS; complying with safety, GMP, environmental policies; maintaining records and communicating across departments; wearing PPE; and performing related duties. Requires HS diploma/GED, 3+ years in manufacturing, strong mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic skills, PLC and VFD experience, valid license, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (food processing equipment experience desirable).
- Ability to use logic and reasoning skills to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Strong pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills; experience with PLC's and VFD's.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to attendance.
- Valid driver's license.
