Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment, adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work in the asset management system and report spare parts inventory levels to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians while collaborating with outside vendors to complete projects safely and on time. Execute preventive maintenance standards and handle tasks related to PLCs, conveyors, 3-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing. Work Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
