Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility equipment related to conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO procedures. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within the DCs safely and timely. Perform other duties as needed to support the DC's operational needs. Requires an associate's degree or vocational certificate in mechanical or electrical applications, 3-5 years of experience, and knowledge of specialized software packages like Crown PM and Gage.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
