Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment, adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels to leadership. Troubleshoot systems involving PLCs, conveyors, three-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing while assisting in training junior technicians. Collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within distribution centers safely and on time. Perform additional duties as needed to support operational needs. Requires an associate's degree or vocational certificate with three to five years of experience, welding skills, and familiarity with DC-specific software.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
