Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment including PLCs, conveyors, 3-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing. Adhere to OSHA safety standards, specifically LOTO and safe work practices, while documenting work in the asset management system. Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within distribution centers safely and on time. Perform additional duties as needed to support operational needs. Requires 3-5 years of experience, welding/cutting skills, and familiarity with DC-specific software. Shift runs Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 plus $1 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
