Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment, adhering to OSHA standards, LOTO procedures, and preventive maintenance schedules. Document work in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians while collaborating with outside vendors to complete projects within distribution centers safely and timely. Shift runs Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 per hour plus a $1 shift differential. Requires an associate's degree or vocational certificate in mechanical or electrical applications, three to five years of experience, and expertise in PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
