Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and conveyance equipment including PLCs, conveyors, three-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing. Adhere to OSHA safety standards and LOTO procedures while documenting work in the asset management system. Accurately report spare parts inventory and daily usage to leadership. Train junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within distribution centers safely and timely. Perform other duties as needed to support operational needs. Requires an associate's degree or vocational certificate, 3-5 years of experience, and welding skills. Shift is Tuesday through Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., at $29.55 per hour plus $1 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
