Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to facility and conveyance systems, adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage. Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians while troubleshooting assets, and work closely with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely. Take on other duties as needed to support the DC's operational needs. Requires expertise in PLCs, conveyors, 3-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing, along with experience in welding, burning, and cutting. Schedule includes Tuesday through Friday, 5:30p to 3:30a.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
