Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility equipment including PLCs, conveyors, and hydraulic systems while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO procedures. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians on troubleshooting and repair tasks while collaborating with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely. Perform duties as needed to support daily DC operational requirements. Requires 3-5 years of experience and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
