Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility equipment and conveyance systems, adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage. Execute preventive maintenance schedules and assist in training junior technicians while collaborating with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely. Read electrical and mechanical schematics, operate PLC controls, and manage hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing systems. Work Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55/hr. plus $1/hr. shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
