Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment, adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians while collaborating with outside vendors to complete projects safely and on time. Perform welding, burning, and cutting tasks, and read electrical mechanical building drawings. Support DC operational needs with additional duties as assigned. Requires 3-5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical applications, proficiency with PLCs and hydraulics, and familiarity with Crown PM software.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
