Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment related to conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO procedures. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians on troubleshooting and repairing assets, and coordinate projects with outside vendors within the DCs. This role requires an Associate's degree or vocational certificate in mechanical or electrical applications with 3-5 years of experience. Candidates must possess welding skills, knowledge of gear boxes and PLC controls, and the ability to read electrical building drawings. The position involves a Tuesday through Friday 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. shift with a starting rate of $29.55 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
