Job Summary
Maintenance Technician (2nd shift, 3:00 pm – 1:30 am) responsible for operating, installing, and maintaining plant equipment according to defined rules. Performs maintenance planning, participates in production lines drawings, conducts repair interventions, and provides day-to-day support to ensure plant functionality. Requires experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, plus ability to read manuals and schematics, troubleshoot issues, and work with safety and quality standards; expects 2–5 years in a manufacturing maintenance role and basic computer skills. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, plus readiness to work overtime as needed; reports to Engineering Manager and may contribute to data logging and reporting of maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Basic computer skills for maintenance records and reporting
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Ability to work overtime or different shifts when needed
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues
- Minimize equipment downtime
- Inspect machines and identify potential problems
- Maintain maintenance logs and records
