Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on production lines daily by diagnosing machine downtime, repairing defective equipment, and consulting with production teams to troubleshoot issues. Maintain tool and supply inventory, read blueprints, and document all repair activities including parts used and downtime. Assist with facility projects and production lines as needed, utilizing forklifts or overhead cranes when required. Comply with all safety standards and manufacturing codes to ensure a safe work environment. This role supports safe and reliable operations within the facility, requiring consistent judgment and adherence to established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 3-5 Years Relevant experience
- Usage of basic hand tools (drills, wrenches, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical training in Mechanical Engineering
- Overhead Crane Certification
- OSHA 10/OSHA 30
- Forklift Certification
- Familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications
- Knowledge with Slitter related lines or Blanking related lines
