Job Summary
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to identify potential issues, promptly responding to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime. Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including mold changes and PM work on molds. Execute machining, milling, and metal fabrication tasks while collaborating with the production team to develop preventative maintenance schedules. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and costs, and keep the work area clean and organized. Starting pay is $25/hr with shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician
- preferably within the plastics industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Proficient in conducting diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail
- ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Strong communication skills

Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Experience with plastics blow molding operations (injection blow molding, extrusion blow molding, etc.)
