Maintenance Technician 2nd/3rd Shift

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, install, and repair Automatic, Robotic, and CNC machinery, including Automated Paint Lines, Setting Presses, and Welders. Perform PLC programming, HMI modifications, and servo controller tasks while jogging and resetting Fanuc and Denso robots. Diagnose electrical and electronic problems, replace defective control modules, and make mechanical repairs as necessary. Prepare wiring diagrams to record changes and enter all work into the SAP system. Maintain competency in electrical panels up to 480 volts and support daily continuous improvement activities. Requires five years of manufacturing experience with control systems, robots, and CNC equipment, plus knowledge of schematics and machine communications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years experience in a similar manufacturing environment working with Control Systems, PLC's, CNC Controls, Robots, PC's and HMI's
- Working knowledge of prints, schematics, and equipment documentation for installation, modification and repair of production equipment
- Working knowledge of machine communications including understanding of communication cables and LAN components
- Full competency in working safely in electrical control panels of various voltage levels
- Qualified to work in electrical panels of 3-phase 480 volts and lower using all proper safety procedures and PPE
- Good computer, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Communication, Teamwork, and strong customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Robot Schools is a strong plus. (certificate required to operate and teach robots.)
