Job Summary
Maintenance Technician (2nd, 3rd, and WKD shifts) at Cardinal LG Amery: perform preventive maintenance on diverse equipment, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems, install/tear-down new equipment, and seek process/PM improvements. Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime, follow safety protocols including lock-out/tag-out, read schematics, and potentially train others. Role requires hands-on use of tools, ability to interpret technical drawings, and experience in manufacturing maintenance with opportunities for profit sharing and career advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing capacity
- Associates degree/technical degree in industrial maintenance or similar
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Plumbing knowledge
- Welding and/or machining experience
- PLC knowledge
- Experience with programming/installing frequency drives
- HVAC experience
- Certified Electrician
