Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex machines, tools, and heavy equipment, including electrical/PLC, mechanical, welding, and hydraulic systems. Manage the CMMS system by creating work orders, uploading documentation, and updating parts while assisting with inventory and ordering supplies. Collaborate with engineering to resolve issues, improve reliability, and minimize downtime through data-driven analysis. Mentor Technician I employees on advanced manufacturing systems and rebuild machines or create special tools to assist production. Weekend shift (Friday-Sunday, 6a-6:30pm). Requires high school diploma, forklift experience, and 3+ years with mechanical systems. Heavy physical work involving lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous forklift experience
- 5+ years of experience
- 3 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions
- Completion of related technical training program, certificate, degree, or journeyman apprenticeship
