Job Summary
Complete all daily work orders within 24 hours, troubleshooting repairs for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliances. Respond to after-hours on-call emergencies and coordinate workshop inventory with the maintenance supervisor. Work with leasing staff to ensure make-ready repairs are completed on schedule and maintain accurate records for preventative maintenance and service requests. Perform building inspections, grounds maintenance, trash removal, and snow clearing during events. Stay current on building codes and safety standards while communicating professionally with residents and staff. Available for weekend inspections and weekday evening meetings as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED education
- 1-3 years of direct experience working as a Maintenance Technician or related field
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to respond to on-call emergencies at the property
- Basic knowledge of plumbing
- Basic knowledge of electrical
- Basic knowledge of HVAC
- Basic knowledge of carpentry
- Basic knowledge of appliance maintenance
- Basic knowledge of snow removal
- Ability to professionally communicate with residents and staff
- Must be available for weekend inspections
- Must be available for weekday evening resident meetings
