Job Summary
Maintenance Technician 2 is responsible for building maintenance and basic repairs, including troubleshooting and maintaining small tools and equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing complex machines (electrical/PLC, mechanical, welding, machining, hydraulics/pneumatics, and conveyor systems), collaborating with engineering to reduce downtime via data-driven analysis, managing the CMMS system (work orders, documentation, parts updates), assisting with inventory and parts ordering, mentoring Technician I staff, and rebuilding machines and heavy equipment while creating special tools for production. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and three years of experience with mechanical systems or machinery. Preferred completion of related technical training program or journeyman apprenticeship.
