Job Summary
Conduct daily intermediate-level preventive and breakdown maintenance on production equipment, performing mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical repairs. Diagnose malfunctions, intervene in processes for inspection, and support operations by minimizing downtime while working cross-functionally with quality and engineering. Evaluate preventative maintenance activities, maintain accurate documentation, and assist with equipment installation and validation. This E shift role (6 PM–6 AM, Friday–Sunday) requires troubleshooting machinery, using hand and power tools, and adhering to safe work practices in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing equipment maintenance
- High school diploma or GED
- Intermediate level of electro-mechanical and pneumatic knowledge
- Proven mechanical, machine tool, and equipment repair skills
- Experience and ability to become a Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW)
- Familiarity with EH&S, ISO, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and P&IDs
- Understand safe work practices and experience in lockout, tag out, electrical safety, etc
- Physical flexibility to interact with and troubleshoot machinery and equipment
- Exposure to chemical reagents
- Use hand and power tools
- Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- Frequent lifting/carrying of 26 - 50 lbs
- Bend, squat, stoop, and kneel
- Pinch, grasp, and manipulate objects consistently and regularly
- Fine motor skills
- This is a E shift position with the hours of 6PM-6AM Friday-Sunday
- External applicants must be eligible to work in the US
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years manufacturing equipment maintenance or related experience within an ISO certified or cGMP manufacturing environment
- Experience with Microsoft products, CAD drawing a plus
