Job Summary
Maintenance Technician 2 in Commerce, CA, supporting a 24/7 production operation. Responsibilities include maintenance support and repairs to production machinery and facility, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical/network/computer hardware/software, performing preventive maintenance per the PM plan, documenting maintenance activities, training and coaching new technicians, managing parts inventory, and adhering to safety and OSHA requirements. Requires 1-3 years of electro-mechanical experience, a High School Diploma/GED (Assoc. degree preferred), and a Powered Industrial Truck certification. Shift is Thur-Mon 4:15AM–12:30PM; in-person work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Associate degree (Preferred)
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Electro-mechanical experience
- Powered Industrial Truck Certification
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations/requirements
- Ability to read and interpret schematics/blueprints
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks as described
