Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair; perform preventative maintenance, turnover repairs, and general upkeep to preserve building safety and appeal. Provide outstanding resident service, with on-call rotations and after-hours availability. Opportunity to earn EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification after 12 months, fully paid by Bozzuto. Must have experience or education in the trades, strong communication, and basic computer skills; on-site role requiring physical effort and weekend/evening availability. Competitive compensation with benefits and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades
- Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair
- Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation
- The ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly
- Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and respond to on-call emergencies
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A sharp professional appearance
- Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps and computer programs
- A service mentality and a thirst for learning
