Maintenance Technician 1st Shift

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and utility systems including Liquid Filling Lines, Cappers, SIP, and CIP systems. Identify and procure parts for repairs while documenting all work in the computer maintenance management system and logbooks. Maintain records and complete paperwork in accordance with regulatory requirements and site SOPs. Submit equipment repair requisitions and develop predictive and preventative maintenance programs. Operate hand and power tools and interpret blueprints and schematics. Work 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm with potential overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Two years' experience in the electro/mechanical field
- Working knowledge of and ability to safely and competently operate hand and power tools
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrated ability to interact with and positively influence internal and external work groups
- Strong organizational skills
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
- Valid driver's license
- Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, and the CMMS
- Ability to work flexible hours, including work week, weekend, holidays, overtime, and on call duties
- Ability to distinguish colors associated with mechanical and electrical craft work
- Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs
- Authorization to work in the US

Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited technical/trade school in the electro/mechanical field
- 2 years industrial experience (in addition to degree)
- Prior experience on equipment (Liquid Filling Lines, Cappers, Portable Tank w/mixers, SIP, and CIP systems)
