Job Summary
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with SWI's and GMP's while supporting the production team as the mechanical expert. Perform preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions to complete reactive work orders and corrective tasks. Make repairs or adjustments to equipment, structures, and facilities, including basic electrical duties and dismantling machines for sanitation needs. Operate within a CMMS system, maintain MRO inventory, and train production team members on mechanical processes. Focus on continuous improvement and waste elimination while operating flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience working as a multi-craft industrial technician
- Basic understanding of steam generation and supply systems
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems maintenance
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer and report writing skills
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
- Good time-management skills
- Ability to report to work on time and complete entire shift
- Timely and regular attendance
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatably
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
