Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, and basic mechanical repairs on machinery and plant support equipment used in manufacturing precision bearing products. Conduct inspections, checks, and tasks including cleaning, washing, and coolant system management. Execute material handling duties for supplies and wastes, processing waste-water, turning chips, and grinding sludge in accordance with federal and state regulations. Assist associates on complex work involving 90% mechanical and 10% electrical tasks. Work Monday through Thursday from 5:00am to 3:00pm with Friday overtime, earning $27.50 to $31.50. Requires high school graduation and ability to safely work around chemicals and heavy objects.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Ability to frequently pick-up and carry heavy objects
- Ability to work safely around chemicals and lubricants
- Knowledge in the use of general machine tools
- Ability to read drawings, charts, graphs and other diagrams
- Ability to use various lifting and transporting devices
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
