Job Summary
Safely perform preventative, scheduled and unscheduled repairs on machinery and mechanical equipment or structure of a production and manufacturing process/buildings. Ability to lead and influence maintenance personnel on staff or in association with contracted vendors. Other duties may be assigned as needed. · Schedule and manage preventive maintenance process · Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc. · Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair and troubleshoot · Inspect mechanical components of vehicles to identify problems · Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear · Read technical information needed to perform maintenance or repairs · Experience in a manufacturing environment is required · May train or supervise work of other maintenance or technical employees.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or any combination of education and experience.
