Job Summary
Maximize manufacturing machinery uptime by proactively tracking, inspecting, servicing, maintaining, and calibrating equipment to prevent breakdowns. Perform complex troubleshooting, installation, design, modification, fabrication, repair, assembly, calibration, moving, alignment, rebuilding, testing, and inspections on electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, robotics, and automation systems. Install new equipment or upgrades and provide routine maintenance while developing detailed service reports to document visits and track activities. Utilize computerized software to record, analyze data, and write reports, effectively using specialized measurement instruments, schematics, blueprints, and manuals to diagnose problems and recommend improvements. Work independently within established procedures in non-climate controlled environments while wearing required PPE. Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm with OT on Saturday as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of work experience preferably in a machining environment
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy, precision and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. when necessary
- Consistently able to manually lift and move product and materials up to 50 lbs. through regular physical exertion, including but not limited to reach forward, reach overhead, lift, carry, crouch, and bend
- Power grip and wrist turn, including the use of hand tools and/or steering fork truck
- Walk, sit, or stand for up to 12 hours with intermittent breaks
- Push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- See, inspect, handle and evaluate product quality
- Read and understand written English language work instructions
- Work in non-climate controlled environments, including hot and humid conditions
- Climb ladders and stairs of varying heights
- Wear task-based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by LSI
