Job Summary
Oversee production machinery performance by assembling, cleaning, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment. Perform scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and hydraulic machines using diagrams and manufacturer instructions. Conduct root cause analyses through visual inspections and precision testing to identify inoperative equipment issues. Maintain inspection schedules and submit mechanical maintenance reports by analyzing trends in the tracking program. This non-supervisory role supports organizational objectives in Delavan, Wisconsin, requiring a high school diploma, two years of manufacturing experience, and forklift licensure.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED
- 2 years of directly related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Coursework in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Fluency in speaking and writing English
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the principles and methods involved in manufacturing maintenance processes
- Knowledge of local building codes and government regulations
- Knowledge of agency rules involved in areas of licensure
- Knowledge of applicable safety and OSHA requirements
- Forklift licensure (or ability to attain)
- Ability to build positive team relationships
- Ability to achieve outcome-oriented objectives
- Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN Enterprise) with a holistic viewpoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
