Job Summary
Operate and monitor multifunction process control machinery to control the processing of paper and cellulose materials, while installing industrial equipment according to layout plans and adjusting machinery to repair or replace defective parts. Conduct preventive maintenance programs, keep maintenance records in the CMMS System, and clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machinery. Inspect equipment to detect irregularities, fabricate parts using machine tools and welding equipment, and train or assist new workers. Maintain safety and housekeeping procedures during all tasks, work additional hours for emergency situations and shutdowns, and participate in specific training programs to keep skills current. Night shift and weekend availability required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years industrial experience
- Proof of formal training in specialty areas (i.e., Pneumatics, Hydraulics, mechanical, PLC's, Instrumentation, etc.)
- Must be able to pass a mechanical exam
- Must be available for Night Shift and weekends
