Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for routine and preventative maintenance across apartment communities, performing painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and cleaning; maintain grounds and curb appeal; respond to work orders and rotate for emergency on-call coverage (respond within 30 minutes); ensure safety, property, and inspection standards; collaborate with peers and residents to ensure a safe, comfortable living environment. Requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, HS diploma or GED, ability to lift 50–100 lbs, reliable transportation, basic computer skills, and strong communication/customer-service skills; bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience (painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring; HVAC experience a plus)
- A high school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to cover overtime or nearby communities when needed
- Basic computer or mobile-app skills for work orders, timekeeping, and training (we’ll train you!)
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills, a plus that helps connect with our residents!
