Job Summary
Make repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment while installing light fixtures and conducting scheduled inspections. Ensure hazardous materials are stored properly and secure the building by monitoring security systems and repairing locks. Maintain keys and ascend ladders to service lights and roofs, all while carrying up to 50 pounds and working in hard-to-reach areas. Sit or stand for eight hours and accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one year's trade-related and/or training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to sit or stand for 8 hours at a time
- Must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools
