Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role responsible for technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet safety, cleanliness, and operational standards. Performs work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnoses defects, repairs, completes make-ready processes for vacant units, inventories and procures supplies, documents work, and inspects completed tasks. Works with vendors and contractors, follows safety and code requirements (OSHA, EPA refrigerant certifications), and performs general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage as needed. Requires flexibility for evenings/weekends and travel as needed; valid driver’s license for property operations; EPA refrigerant certifications and applicable state/local certifications; ability to operate and use maintenance tools and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable
- incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
- incumbents must attend required OSHA safety trainings and safety meetings
- ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
