Job Summary
Conduct daily preventive maintenance, install, rebuild, and troubleshoot electronic equipment, and respond to down calls for repairs on assigned rides and games. Perform weekly tasks such as changing filters, cleaning screens, and replacing water on water games, while maintaining a daily log of events and repairs. Set up and strike festivals, concerts, and special events as assigned, ensuring workplace cleanliness and managing stock supplies. Provide technical support to the Entertainment Department and assist with table and video system setup. Work shifts from 6:00am to 11:00pm, including weekends and holidays through October, with a valid Ontario driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates that are enrolled in or graduate of a Post-Secondary related program and/or related work experience
- Candidates that are willing to work in a "hands on" environment and accept responsibility as assigned
- Individuals that are able to multi-task and work efficiently in all types of weather conditions
- Dependable individuals that enjoy the prospect of working in a guest oriented environment
- Availability to work shifts including both a daytime (6:00am to 3:00pm) and afternoon (2:30pm to 11:00pm) shift and available to start working weekends in Mid-April and daily starting Mid-May; and able to work holidays and on weekends through to the end of October
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Valid Ontario Driver's License (G, G2) with a clean abstract
- Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of installation, repair, troubleshooting, and programming for audio/video, CCTV, telecom, electronic, electrical/mechanical game equipment and circuit board design and repair is an asset
- Knowledge of entertainment audio, lighting, video, staging and event coordination is an asset
- Knowledge of fiber optic terminations is an asset
