Job Summary
Perform independently technical maintenance repairs for plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, and appliances while managing apartment turnovers within three to five business days. Execute common area maintenance tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and pressure washing, and monitor the building exterior for roof, siding, and shutter issues. Maintain an effective preventive maintenance program, ensure the safe condition of all equipment, and manage tool inventory. Work hand-in-hand with the Maintenance Supervisor to deliver skilled service to residents, with opportunities for promotion to Maintenance Supervisor. On-call hours are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Proof of automobile insurance coverage
- EPA certification
- Effective time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to change in a composed manner
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Maintenance experience & knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to communicate clearly with the residents
- Ability to work cooperatively and in a teamwork environment

Desired Qualifications
