Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Sumitomo Electric Carbide Manufacturing: maintain plant machinery and mechanical systems, diagnose issues, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble and adjust for efficient operation; repair CNC machines and robotics; perform periodic maintenance (PM) on coolant systems and mist collection components; change or add oils and lubricants to production equipment; keep tools and maintenance area organized; may provide training to less experienced maintenance staff; work under limited supervision with basic communication to co-workers and supervisors; general knowledge of basic hand tools; lifting up to 50 lbs; experience with preventive maintenance and CNC grinding or HVAC is a plus.
