Job Summary
Conduct expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial devices, including dismantling, repairing, and reconditioning machine tools while troubleshooting complex control systems. Independently identify and source parts, evaluate alternatives to improve equipment reliability, and operate metalworking tools such as lathes and drill presses. Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect performance data, analyze CMMS history, and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive cost savings. Provide technical assistance to lower-level technicians, lead training programs, and ensure strict compliance with safety policies and 5S standards. Requires an associate degree or five years of experience; salary range $33.42–$42.75 USD.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 7 years of experience in specific industry
- Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment
- Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
- Experience in vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment
- May be required to travel
