Job Summary
Lead the operating crew to minimize downtime and maximize productivity by making critical decisions on hydraulic and combustion repairs. Perform quality repairs and troubleshooting on varied mechanical and fluid systems, including changing components and executing specialized fluids troubleshooting tasks. Complete administrative duties such as work order documentation and data entry into the computerized maintenance system. This role requires a swing shift schedule with bi-weekly pay at $44.67/hour. Located at the East Alton, IL facility, the position supports Wieland's global copper manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years heavy industrial/maintenance experience or a four year apprenticeship certification
- Experience with hydraulic systems
- Experience with pneumatic systems
- Experience with combustion systems
- Ability to work swing shift
- Ability to work overtime

- Experience with mounting and setting equipment
- Rigging experience
- Experience repairing mechanical transmission equipment
- Experience repairing fluid power systems
- Experience with general equipment breakdown maintenance
