Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for scheduled, unscheduled and preventative maintenance and repair of beverage manufacturing/packaging equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, conveyor systems, and PLC usage. Tasks include troubleshooting machinery, performing repair and preventive maintenance, completing work orders with part numbers for inventory, communicating across shifts, and training other maintenance personnel to support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requires reading blueprints/parts manuals, forklift certification, GMP and food safety knowledge, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced production environment. The role involves weekdays with possible overtime, and a contract hourly wage of $33.50 per hour at Maryland Heights, MO on-site location.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred
- Must obtain and maintain forklift certification
- Knowledge of GMPs
- Understanding of Food Safety Requirements
- Ability to read, understand, and work with machinery blueprints and parts manuals
- Ability to work without supervision
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
