Job Summary
Maintenance Tech role providing oversight of maintenance operations for PRAXM communities, including HVAC upkeep, basic electrical/plumbing repairs, preventative maintenance, and site upkeep. Responsibilities include handling service requests, coordinating with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, preparing vacant units for market-ready condition, supporting inspections, maintaining common areas and exterior spaces, and participating in rotating on-call and after-hours emergency coverage. Required skills include HVAC knowledge (certification preferred), troubleshooting across multiple maintenance disciplines, strong customer service and communication, familiarity with RealPage or similar property-management software, and adherence to safety and housing regulations. The position supports multiple PRAXM properties in Indiana with economy-minded maintenance practices and adherence to budgetary objectives.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC certification/designation preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple maintenance disciplines
- Exceptional customer service skills, including strong written and verbal communication
- Reliable transportation required
- Working knowledge of RealPage (or other property management software)
- Knowledge of federal and state housing regulations
- Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule and varied work schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
