Maintenance Tech

Job Summary
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and systems throughout the hospital facility. Responsibilities include general maintenance of hospital tools and inventory, adherence to safety and infection-control guidelines, operating and cleaning maintenance equipment, using PPE, responding to on-call duties, and ensuring facilities meet safety and comfort standards for patients and staff. Requires knowledge across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry; licensure in Electrical Journeyman and Master Electrician preferred; at least 1 year of maintenance experience; valid driver’s license; ability to work across multiple shifts including weekends; ability to operate hospital vehicles and handle heavy-duty tasks in a high-temperature, noisy environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- One (1) year experience in all phases of general maintenance
- One (1) year experience in facilities maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Electrical Journeyman licensure
- Master’s Electrician licensure
