Job Summary
Clean and lubricate machinery shafts, bearings, and gears while troubleshooting repairs on slitters, welders, and conveyors. Install pipe systems, hydraulic equipment, and replace gauges, valves, and pressure regulators. Perform minor plumbing, welding, and electrical repairs, and log labor and parts in the CMMS system. Work with little to no supervision, complying strictly with safety policies, PPE requirements, and ISO9001 standards. This role requires willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-shifts as part of an on-call program.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years minimum experience as a maintenance mechanic in a metal manufacturing environment
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice ISO9001 standards for metals manufacturing
- Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and off-shifts as required
- Must participate in on-call program
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree in maintenance-related field
- Experience with and ability to use all types of welding, cutting, machine, and hand tools
- Experience in high-speed packaging, welding, and mechanical power transmission
- PLC experience
