Job Summary
Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to keep equipment reliable and production on schedule, updating the CMMS with accurate work orders and asset data. Stage, prioritize, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance while developing daily and weekly maintenance schedules to coordinate planned shutdowns. Monitor job progress across shops and vendors, escalate discrepancies, and manage contractor scheduling. Serve as the liaison between Maintenance, EHS, and Operations to align maintenance windows with production demand, preparing status reports on backlog and reliability metrics. This role supports production windows in Irvine, CA, requiring two years of experience in maintenance planning and CMMS proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of maintenance planning/scheduling, maintenance coordination, or production support experience in a computerized environment
- Working knowledge of CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, EAM, or equivalent) and maintenance workflows (PM/PdM/CM)
- Understanding of maintenance resource and capacity planning and familiarity with MRO spares and basic MRP concepts
- Ability to read and interpret routings, job plans, schematics, P&IDs, and blueprints
- Proficiency with Excel and Outlook
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing/walking tasks as required
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with dashboards/reporting
- Exposure to reliability/maintenance frameworks (e.g., TPM, RCM)
- Familiarity with KPIs such as PM compliance, backlog, MTBF/MTTR
- Experience coordinating contractors and vendors
